We go like this in the install script:

RegQueryStringValue(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, 'Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\{#VSVERSION}', 'InstallDir', vsPath)

And VSVERSION==10.0

What is in your registry?

Try the new beta from today in a post near this...

The builds for VS2010 are still maintained manually and thus not on the build machine.

This post points to the latest build for VS2010: http://www.capableobjects.com/apps/InstantForum414/FindPost5469.aspx

Thank you for the information!

I used this url and downloaded the build for VS2010.
But now I have this error:

Undefined variable "IncludeWCFRegistration" in D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplatesCache\CSharp\ECO6.0\Eco6.0Solution_cs.zip\PersistenceMapperProvider.cs

+ PMP designer shows me Warning: The class name '?' is not a valid identifier for this language.

Could you please help me?

VS2010 on W2003 (without IIS), ECO 6.0.0.5263, .NET 4.0, .NET 3.5SP1

Thank you!

When do you this message? When using the Eco project Wizard? What settings?

Yes, when using the Eco Wizard with the default settings:

- Winforms application
WPF
- Windows application
- Modeler: Integrated Modeler
Persistence
Storage Xml
Server: None

It gives the error:

Undefined variable "IncludeWCFRegistration" in c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\ProjectTemplatesCache\CSharp\ECO6.0\Eco6.0Solution_cs.zip\PersistenceMapperProvider.cs

It also happens changing the presets to "Webform application" or "ECO  package in DLL".

Regards,

José María Sanmartín

Hi Hans,

the problem remains even if I initialize the registry variables ("Unable to locate Visual Studio").

EcoSetup_6.0.0.5318_2010-09-23_b263.exe, Visual Studio 2010, XP or Vista.

Many thanks,

I suspect that you use the builds for VS2008 (from daily builds) and not the Build for VS2010 that you find in this http://www.capableobjects.com/apps/InstantForum414/Topic5315-4-1.aspx forum thread (take the last available)
